POLYSTAMP:
 Introduction:
The primary function of draw lubricant is
- To reduce friction between sheet and die while pressing a component
- To reduce the wear of die
- To dissipate the heat and prevent expansion / deformation of die
Polystamp, from Polychem Pune, provides innovative, water based, non-conventional alternative for use of mineral oil based draw lubricants. Polystamp replaces conventional draw compounds, grease, and mineral oil with following special features.
Special Features:
- Polystamp is Eco-friendly, biodegradable, does not require effluent treatment.
- Polystamp provides high viscosity, high lubricity coupled with ease of cleaning of component.
- Polystamp has two viscosity variants - Polystamp HV and Polystamp HV+
- Polystamp is water based and uses vegetable oils resulting in low friction, faster heat dissipation and improved die life.
- Use of Polystamp reduces consumption of lubricant, as there is practically no dripping of oil in shop from stack of components.
- Press shop remains clean and shop safety is improved.
- Toxic fumes of burning of oil, while welding is avoided, as Polystamp is water-based lubricant.
